For her series on culture and area development, this time Rinske Brand traveled to Eindhoven. Opposite the village of Drenthe, Amvest developed the relaxed-urban residential environment Strijp R here, with a striking mix of new construction and redevelopment and thus an interesting combination of housing and contemporary business activity. Designer Piet Hein Eek played a crucial role in the latter domain.
