03.11.2017 | Delivery Green House

The Hedera is in the ground and the residents have moved into the green homes! The sedum roof will follow this autumn and the PV panels have already been installed. Although the houses are currently mainly black, the greening has really started now. In a few seasons we will have a photo report about how the plants are taking over the building.

The green houses are the two little brothers (or sisters) of the RAG building, with south-facing roof terraces and built in an industrial way. People live on the top floor, adjacent to the roof terrace and under the steel construction after the example of the RAG building. The large, square, freely divisible space is very light because the windows are positioned to the rhythm of the sun. The steel construction is visible everywhere and, together with the concrete floors and steel roof plates, forms the industrial basis for the interior.
